Indigenous Community
Our project supports the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, an Indigenous community located near Toronto. We partner with the community to help restock their food bank, provide essential school supplies, and engage directly with elders and community members, fostering support and strengthening community resources.
Our organization is deeply committed to supporting Indigenous communities, and a significant part of our work involves a collaborative project with the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. This vibrant community, home to a substantial population across over a thousand homes, is located a few hours from Toronto, and we are dedicated to providing meaningful assistance that addresses their specific needs.
