Shelter Support
Our monthly Shelter Support initiative provides vital warm meals and essential groceries to local shelters, primarily assisting single Muslim women and their children. We also extend our support to local food banks serving these communities, ensuring consistent access to nourishing food and crucial supplies.
Newcomer Support
Our Newcomer Support program assists individuals and families who have been displaced by war or natural disaster and are settling in Canada. Partnering with local organizations, we provide essential household items, groceries, warm meals, Eid gifts, and school supplies to help them feel welcomed and ease their transition into their new home.
Assisting the Unhoused
Our annual Winter Run addresses the immediate needs of Toronto's unhoused community during the colder months. Through a partnership with a local restaurant and dedicated volunteers, we provide warmth, nourishment, and essential personal care items to individuals living outdoors in the downtown core.
Indigenous Community
Our project supports the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, an Indigenous community located near Toronto. We partner with the community to help restock their food bank, provide essential school supplies, and engage directly with elders and community members, fostering support and strengthening community resources.
